PRE-OP MEDICATIONS: oxy contin 160 mg a day,percocet 10/650 three time a day

PRE-OP DIAGNOSTICS (discogram, nerve root blocks, etc...): discogram
PRE-OP NEUROPATHIES (what, where, & degree of pain, numbness, tingling, sexual/bladder/bowel symptoms, etc.):could bearly walk before hand pain was either mild or screaming on a one to ten it was a ten most times ,no sex, blader was normal

PRE-OP CONDITION (Please include %leg pain/% back pain, pain levels, type of pain, ability to work and function, disability status, etc.... be direct, but be as verbose as you need to):
completly disabled, no work,no fun nothing

TIME POST-OP AT ORIGINAL POST HERE:

DESCRIBE YOUR SURGICAL EXPERIENCE:got to hospital at 5:30 am was useing two canes to walk in could not change my own clothes thank god the wife was therewoke up at 2:00pm i knew right away that the pain was gone
RATE FUNCTIONALITY / SATISFACTION AT INTERVALS BELOW:

FUNCTIONALITY:
1. Very poor: much worse... disabled after surgery.
2. Poor: worse after surgery.
3. Neutral: No improvement, or improvements offset by new problems.
4. Fair, some improvement, limitations are still serious.
5. Good, substantial improvement, some limitations.
6. Excellent: no limitations.

SATISFACTION:
1. Very sorry I had the surgery.
2. Somewhat sorry I had the surgery.
3. Too soon to tell, or I'm ambivalent about the surgery.

6 WEEKS POST-OP - DESCRIBE LIFESTYLE / PAIN / MEDICATIONS / NEUROPATHIES / ECT... (discuss surgery induced symptoms [leg pain?]): pain is there butits just a dull ache cutting back on meds, less and less every day
3 MONTHS POST-OP - DESCRIBE LIFESTYLE / PAIN / MEDICATIONS / NEUROPATHIES / ETC... (discuss surgery induced symptoms [leg pain?]): pain allmost completly gone only taking meds if i have a flare up. feet and leg pain at night and in the morning walking4 to 6 miles a day

6 MONTHS POST-OP - DESCRIBE LIFESTYLE / PAIN / MEDICATIONS / NEUROPATHIES / ETC... (discuss surgery induced symptoms [leg pain?]): pain is gone did two months of therapy and now am doing all i did before with no limits .drove a truck to fla and back with no problems ( i drove straight thru 17 hr both ways .fished in very choppy water and still have no problems
Leg and foot pain are gone. also I WOULD DO THIS AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT , I WILL KEEP YOU ALL INFORMED ALL I KNOW IS I GOT MY LIFE BACK
PS I GO BACK TO WORK FULL TIME AS A MARINE OUTBOARD MECHANIC IN THREE WEEKS A PAYCHECKS GOING TO LOOK GOOD BYE FOR NOW
