Bogen - Hotel Gasthof zur Post

Another charming old hotel located on Main St. in Bogen. There is a restaurant downstairs and a beer garden behind the hotel. The rooms are comparable to the Pension Schreiber, but can be noisy if you are on the street side. You will have a beautiful view of the church but the bells are loud. Mr. Post and his wife will try to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast is served in a bright breakfast room. Check the posted time for breakfast. One morning I slept past breakfast and was delighted to find a tray of food outside my room. Internet is available but only works at random locations, like the hallway. No refrigerators in the rooms. There is a small refrigerator in the hallway stocked with beer and water. Also a great bargain.
