Melissa,

I believe we've had this discussion before. The majority who have tempurpedics, like the bed and yes, they do last about 10 years but can be expensive. There are several models to choose from. My personal choice is the least expensive one. Many copycats also use visco-elastic (the tempurpedic material) but watch for density and construction.

Some like the airbed, some don't. It's all a personal preference but I believe more were in favor of the tempurpedic.

At this point in time, after years using a visco-elastic bed, I find sleeping on a conventional mattress uncomfortable when traveling, not that I do it all that often. I've actually thought about buying a topper to take with me. My husband however thinks I've lost a brick or two - too much Lyrica!

By the way, Tempurpedic does have a money back trial of about 1 month.

Good luck, Dale
