Unable to stand without pain
As you can see I have had a 2 level ADR at L4-5 and L5-S1. In addition, I have had some posterior decompression surgeries (these were laser surgeries and could only be done one side at a time and the only nerve that has not been decompressed is the S1 right side) at about 1 year post ADR. After all this I still have some S1 pain ?? that seems to shift from right to left and left to right. My ROM is restricted but only on the right side. I guess it could be the S1 disc or bone spurs or arthritis but why does it shift form one side to another?

Rob...how recent post-op are you from decompression? Are you saying that you can't ambulate because when you are upright and move the pain is beyond 10?
If so, get thee to doc ASAP and get evaluated for infection. Movement from side to side can come from centrally located problems that affect both sides.... possibly from tilting vertebral body associated with ADR level. If inadequate decompression was done with ADR, maybe continued motion at that segment may not be the best thing. MISS decompression can only go so far. Mark
