i knew i was on to something after my surgery my legs would wake me at night. i would get up make a half a pot of coffee drink it down and then was able to return to bed and sleep. chuck

on the other hand...
Caffeine is bad for cervical cord compression. Increases symptoms. I told my NS about that - and cold too- and he confirmed that it is true but said they didn't know why. I have since discovered there is one study on the web hypothesizing why - has to do with an enzyme in the brain but I've forgotten the details.

caffeine...
I love it. It's in my Migraine med and the only prob is that I get too hyper with more than one cup and additional caffiene not to mention not liking having to urinate every other minute due to bladder irritation but hey~ if it's going to make leg pain disappear~ bring on the Java!!!
