Gralise - Extended release Morontin (Neurontin, Gabapentin)

For my thoracic issues, my pain management doctor prescribed Gralise, extended release Gabapentin. I took Neurontin back in the early 2000sies for my lumbar problems. I hated the side effects (brain fog) but found the relief for the leg pain to be worth it.

I ramped up to the 600mg once a day dose... did not realize much benefit, but sure had the brain fog. Difficult tasks (like putting gas in my car) suddenly became confusing. If my current problem was helped more by the med, I might consider the side effects to be worth it. After one month, I discontinued it.

Anyone else have experience with extended release Morontin?
