Is it strange?i thought it was diagnostic only

Last monday i had a medial Branch block to determine if my pain was coming from the Facet joints...Well what is strange is after the procedure, my pain i owuld say decreased by about 50-70 percent on the side injected. but the strange thing is my pain is still at that decreased level. I thought these injectiions were just diagnositc.. NOT THAT i dont mind being in less pain, but ijust dont get why im in less pain still
