Looks like the L5S1 disc is causing you the most prob/pain? I had a 2mm disc bulge at L5S1 that drove me crazy pain wise and for the longest time I kept hearing "it's a small bulge~ it shouldn't cause that much pain!" It did!
I have a 4mm one at L4 (rebulge) that has caused less pain! Neither impinging on anything of importance as far as I recall just caused enough pain/probs that I sought surgical solutions. |

I have seen 4 surgeons since 2008 and 2 of those have been this year. Going to seek a few more opnions but I think surgery is my best option at the L5/S1 level.
Have to think it is the L5/S1 that is the pain generator. Positive discogram 3/2010.

I would be open to another discogram depending on the surgeon's recommendation but so far it has not been brought up.

I actually brought up the discogram at my doctors and then he agreed . Maybe you should be the one to ask, but if it was already positive i don't know why you would ask to do it again. Mine was like torture.
