Default Back from Santa Barbara - jealous - old!

We must be getting old becase we just moved our youngest into the dorm at UCSB. It's been a summer of family events... Son got married in August. About a week later we learned that we'll be grandparents... not the son, but our 21 y-o daughter... very cool. I can't wait to have a grandbaby to dote upon.

Jealous because.... have you seen what UCSB is like? On the beach! What a great town... what a great campus... I'm so jealous. I'm ready to go back to school.

Mark

Huck,

There's a car with a license plate border where I work. It says

Mom says no? (across the top)

Call 1-800-GRANDMA (across the bottom)

I can get very detailed on the do's and don't's of grandparenthood, having a 3 year old and a 3 month old. My phylosophy is that 'I don't care'. I don't care if they eat candy. I don't care if they don't finish their lunch. I don't care if they eat before mealtime. I don't care about bedtimes. I don't care about dirt as long as it comes off in the bathtub or washing machine. I think you get the picture. It's not revenge, it's a reward.

If anyone does cross-stitching... Mother's teach because they love, Grandmother's teach love. This goes for Grandpa's too.

Wishing you all lots of love and congrats to Mark and all you soon-to-be's, Dale
