OK, I've been had.

That is a model. Power to weight on an RC model makes it possible to fly with no wings. Youtube searches will yield many videos of other models doing the same thing.

This particular video is of model of a real aircraft. Someone did quite a nice job on blending video of the real aircraft with video of the model. Got me!
