Anybody with GI issues or GERD on Nsaids?
I have been advised once again to take nsaids though now for my chronic posterior tibial tendonitis. I have GERD so I'm not really keen on this idea and just wonder is anyone taking anything in this category that also has GI issues and doing OK?
I used a Medrol dose pack ( oral steroids) for the first time over a week ago that gave pretty good relief though would kill to have something that I could take on a regular basis for this aggravating not to mention debilitating condition of posterior tibial tendonitis (bilat and now seems to be chronic and getting worse). |

there is a drug by the name of Arthrotec 50 that contains both an NSAID and a drug that reduces the production of stomach Acid. It worked well for me until a stupid doctor decided to take me of the Arthrotec and put me onto Naproxin, three weeks later i had a bleeding ulcer - now I am advised not to take any NSAIDs at all, including arthrotec.
Anyway, lucky me I'm going through a good spell and not needing any medication at all - done 50 mile on the bike today |

Maria i have GERD and some sort of growth in my stomach. I was told years ago by my first GI doc to never take an anti inflammatory again. So no help from me.
