Recommended neurosurgeons in LA/OC area

My neighbor has been advised she's going to need surgery on her cervical spine and wants to get a few opinions from local neurosurgeons. Does anyone have any recommendations out of UC Irvine, Hoag Newport Beach, and/or Los Angeles docs? I've recommended that she see Dr. Coufal in La Jolla because I saw him and I remember he does cervival ADR and fusion both.

Most of the other docs I'd refer her to are OSS's and she wants to see Neurosurgeons.

I have a friend at work and she thinks Coufal is the best doctor ever. He is very focused on the patient. She has been begging me to see him.

Jim,
Mark accompanied me to that visit and then I believe has sent more patients to him. He's was extremely thorough with his exam and at this point I think if I were to have to have a multi level lumbar fusion or cervical surgery I'd feel very comfortable going to him for that.
