Hey all, sorry it has been some time since I posted. I've been doing a lot of research. I have decided that a neurosurgeon will be the best for me, as they specialize in the spine and brain. I am looking around for places right now, and know what I am looking for. I'll keep you all updated, things are finally in motion though!

I have had many fusions performed by an orthopedic spine surgeon. All he does is spine surgery. So here is another option. Just make sure you find a good surgeon.
Maybe call physical therapy places and see who they recommend. that is how i found my surgeon.

I was just looking through your posts and was wondering have you seen a doctor yet? Do you know what is wrong?

Hey Js, I've been running around like a crazy woman these last couple weeks, I haven't been descriptive in my posts! I have severe stenosis in my L5-S1 areas which will definitely require surgery to correct. This pain is unbearable. I've been talking to my insurance agent and have gotten the okay for an alternative surgery instead of a fusion. I'll make a thread about it now!
