Default rasins in vodka

i could not find the thread on this...but i decided to try this today. the rasins are soaking in vodka as we speak. i had been advised not to refrigerate them. rasins are already dried and the vodka is steril. anywho...to let them soak for 24 hours. i will let you know tomorrow.

Default my second time

The first I heard of this was from a co-worker of my husband. The I read a thread about it too. Steps: 1. place rasins in a container and cover with your vodka of choice. 2. allow rasins to soak at room temp for 24 hours. 3. drain 1 well rounded tablespoon of rasins and eat them! PS Keep out of the reach of children ;o) The vodka will turn a dark purple...It is really meant as a take the edge off treat so to speak. I would not recommend for anyone to drive afterwards. It will give you a bit of a buzz...

they are yummy if you like vodka. i eat two tbsp but it really nly last about half an hour. you can't eat them within 2 hours of any meds thought. i only do it once and a while and only one time in a day.

Default done with the rasins

this lasted about 2 weeks and then i totally got tired of it. i guess i just do not like vodka that much. in fact, i still have several tablespoons left...may be i'd rather get lost in a good episode of "Sex and The City" with a glass of red wine. i spoke to a man today at my work place who was complaining of back problems. he said that his doctors were telling him to have fusion surgery...i gave him the other options that i did NOT have when i had my surgery. if anything we need be be advocates for others. i want to share my out come so that others can make an informed choice.
