Default over do it symptoms

Does anyone get nerve irritation by doing a little to much? I was painting our deck this weekend swinging the arms around, turnig the head head way to the right and left. A day later my right C5/C6 is irritated, no muscle spasms or tightness. That's the level I had 3 surgeries. Formanotomy, ADR, ADR conversion to fusion. So the nerve was manipulated 3 times. Most of the time it's fine.

I am 1 year from my last cervical surgery (5 in total), ADR to Fusion at C5/C6.

Feedback is appreciated.

So what's your question?

I hear what your saying. I do feel grateful that my cervical problems aren't as bad as they could be, considering I had (5)cervical surgeries.

However, the pain that I'm dealing with is primarily nerve irritation. It has not been consistent and I was hoping it was behind me. But I guess flare ups are probably going to common for me based on what I do. Unless I get lucky and as more time goes by, the nerve settles for good. Only time has the answer.

Easy answer is yes - nerves are mysterious. If I overdo, at least half my pain is nerve related.
