Well................
I explained to my adjudicator what the Chiro said about the slippage I have at L3, and that he is going to be working out the level of impairment that I have.
She told me that doesn't make sense that a slippage at the L3 level is VERY rare for a peron of my age, and that I need a 2nd opinion..... I am hoping to get some advice, does this sound strange? Or is the adjudicator just being sneaky? I HAVE NO IDEA!!! |

Calla.... so many of us find ourselves outside of the norm. It's great for the 95% of the people who fit the 'normal' mold.... it sucks for those of us who fall into the small percentages of people who confound some of the docs.
So 95% of all surgeries for lumbar DDD are at L4-5 and L5-S1... we still see plenty of dysfunction and surgery needed at other levels. Of what significance is it that it's rare? Mark

just reread original question..... why not get a 2nd opinion... sounds like a good idea. Hopefully you can get an opinion by someone who has access to the new technologies.
