Epic snowstorms across Europe... here I come!
I'm leaving for Germany on Tuesday. Great news on the front page of the times! "Record cold and snowfall across Europe" I don't know who's headed over there for surgery, but it's gonna be cold!
I'm looking at spending some time in Zwickau, Bonn, Zagreb (Croatia... I'm very happy to have the chance to meet Roberto!) I'll have a long drive from Zwickaw to Bonn... One caption in the newspaper article about the storm was 'German officials report 2,000 storm related accidents" yesterday. Great! If I'm lucky, I'll get some time in the wind tunnel for more indoor skydiving. I'm planning on being flared up!!! They can do some diagnostics at the BetaKlinik that I cannot get done in the US, so I hope I'm hurting like an SOB when I get to Bonn. Wish me luck! Mark

Wow!
Hey Mark,
Sounds like a great trip tho I'm not into cold snowy weather~or getting flared up altho if you're having fun in the process~ have at it!!! I'd have no trouble flaring myself up with just the flight there (then the cold, then the drive, then the wind tunnel.. I'd be gurney bound by the time diagnostics rolled around!). Fortunately you're not me so best wishes re safe travel and hope you accomplish everything you set out to do and all goes well. Look forward to reading about "stuff" whenever! Maria |

Beta Klinik
Mark,
Wishing you traveling mercies...... I was at the Beta Klinik last month for diagnostics (and an unexpected, though extremely helpful procedure) and was very impressed with Professor Dr. Reul and staff. I was fortunate to have the "dream team" of Dr. Baumbach, Dr. Zeegers, and Professor Dr. Reul all working together to provide me with an accurate diagnosis (unobtainable here in the U.S.), and help me with my current spine troubles. These are good, sincere, and gifted men. Blessings, Jeff
