Default introduction

Mark searched me down (like a dog) on another chronic pain forum and ask that I become a registered user on his forum.

I am a semi-retired Pharmacist, who is a strong chronic pain advocate. I have a chronic pain wife with after battles with many so called chronic pain specialists .. now has an implanted pump with a PTM ( Patient Therapy Manager)

I do not have enough time to be a real active member on this forum .... searching out questions... but if there is something that you feel I can address please PM me with a link to the message and I will be happy to try and answer.

I am typically on the web daily... so time permitted... should be able to get to questions no later than the next day...

Wow, that was fast!

Steve, thanks so much for your willingness to contribute. Your input here will be invaluable. I have some specific med questions that I'd like your take on... I'll post them on a separate thread.

To the iSpine community: Please join me in welcoming Steve to the forum. Those of you who frequent BrainTalk are already famiar with him... he's amassed over 1200 posts! His style is quite unique as he pulls no punches. His view of our chronic pain management systems, both as a healthcare professional and as the spouse of a chronic pain patient, will give us a unique perspective that I'm very happy to see here. I think we'll see him validate our frustrations as patients, and also help us to understand the harsh realities that the providers face from the regulators, payers and from patients that abuse the system.

This will be great! Thanks Steve!

Mark
