Eights weeks out - new issues-
 

Hi All

I am eight weeks out from surgery and feeling O.K. Started to drive and sit a little,Still no P.T.

New symptoms not spine related I think?

My ankles are itchy, with little red dots, veins in left leg are black and blue with some swelling?

Went to the Dr. office to get it checked out. I have Vasculitis
It is the inflammation of the Veins due to medication.

Could not figure out which medication that is causing this

Has anyone heard or had this????

Gil,
I think you have to have a pretty thorough workup and from what I know vasculitis can be related to immune system response with inflammation of the arteries/vascular system (that much is obvious).. different cases/different causes such as related to a insect bite or virus or something of this nature.

What is your doctor doing to treat it?? What medicines are you taking that might have that as a reaction as a possibility?
