New Herniation
hi All
I have not posted for a while. I recently Herniated my L4-L5 it is a huge chunk  After all the work to see neuro and docs to move on I am now having a lam next fri to remove the pressure off my nerves. I cannot sit, walk, stand, sleep poop, well you know the rest. My plumbing is cloged any suggestions to clear it? Just finished a dose pack taking pain meds and relaxers Thanks Gil:) |
Wow Gil... I'm sorry to hear about the new problem.
What surgery are they going to do? Is this just a microdiscectomy/laminotomy or are they talking about a more complete laminectomy? Mark |
Gil,
How distressing to find yourself with more problems. I am sorry. Clogged pipes... try mineral oil (available in all drug stores)- two tablespoons - morning and night. Easy, effective, no chemicals. If you try this and want to stick with it, don't stop measuring in favor of 'estimating"... just trust me. Good luck on your upcoming surgery. My best to you, Dale |
Hi Dale and Mark
First thanks for the reply/ My plumbing is now working:D Mark it will be a liminotomy/microdisc/ It is a huge piece.. could have injections and pray it works in all the injections I had done not one was successful? Thanks Gil:) |
who and where...
Hey Gil,
sorry to hear about the current status of your L4-5 and am just wondering who will be performing the surgery and where it will be? Did it become sort of an urgent situation so you'll be having it done in your home town by your Neuro/ortho? I do hope you will have the best possible surgical outcome. Please keep us posted as able. |
Hi Maria
I will have the surgery here at home. Dr Mary Neal. The travel and new appointments in an other state would increase the time for surgery. I have drop foot with lots of pain. I also started having tingling in both hands little finger seems to get worse when i cross my arms across my chest, hope this is from the meds? Thanks Gil:) |
