Strange new pain/sensation.
The past few days I have been having a strange new nerve type pain. I get it on the back of my calf on the outer side and down to my ankle. It feels as though some one is plucking my nerve like a guitar string. I am also having a lot of twitching in that leg. Anyone ever have this?

I hear so many things like this and also experience some of it myself. I get these strange buzzing sensations in my L foot, like someone is holding a prank buzzer or vibrator against my foot or ankle... last 10 or 15 seconds and it fades away.
What tune are they playing? Mark

new sensation
I hope it's more of a strange sensation than a pain and that the plucking feeling is pretty mild otherwise that must make you nearly jump!
Here's my list of weird symptoms on lower extremities: vibratory sensations in soles of feet/toes/calves~ very strong.. kinda feels good weird small bugs crawling on lower extremities (usually lateral aspects but sometimes quads). water running down one side of body/lower extremity and the most recently occurring was the feeling of two of my toes being tied off at the base on my right foot excluding my big/great toe and last two toes. Very weird. Didn't even have a shoe on and it felt like there was string tied tight at the base of these two toes. |

I found a new way to describe the side of my face symptoms. Have you ever walked through a spider web at night? You react and try to brush it away, but you still feel like it's there or maybe the spider is there and crawling on your face. That's what I have most of the time, but it's only on one side. Lately, it extends through the entire upper left quadrant. A couple of months ago it moved down through my neck and across the front of my shoulder and front of upper arm. Now it's front and back of shoulder, front and back of arm, in addition to left face and neck. Cool, huh?
