Default Disappearing post

Mark...

For the 3rd time, I was typing a post, hit a 'wrong' key and my message disappeared. I have heard this from another poster. I've learned when posting something new to type it out in word and paste it but when replying to some lost soul, I type from the heart without thought to my post getting LOST. Is there anything you can do about this?

Dale

Dale, this happens to me once in a while with all of the forum systems. Sometimes, I can get it back with the back key. If you stayed on the same page and accidentially deleted the entire post by selecting all and typing, perhaps you can get it back with control-z (undo).

It's frustrating, but I don't think this is somethink I can help with. I also type my long posts into an email... that's convenient for spell check and (typically) won't get lost if I fat finger the keyboard. If I get distracted, it stays in my drafts folder.

I wish I could help more. I look forward to some soul food!

Mark

Dale, I just had it happen to me. I accidentally clicked to another page. When I hit back to return to the previous page, I got back to my post, but could not enter it. I could see the text in the quick reply box, but could not get to it. However, I was able to highlight my text and control-c it... then paste it back in after clicking the quick reply icon on one of the posts.
