Prodisc Surgery With Jeffrey Goldstein on Tuesday Oct.24

After 3 years Liberty Mutual finally approved my ADR surgery. I'm very excited!

Mark I hope you are available that week to see the good Dr. Goldstein in action. (Maybe just to make sure he doesn't leave any tools inside me like Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard.)

If he says "I think we should blast", please make sure he uses the proper amount of dynamite.

I'm bringing my own sterile towels for visitors to wash their hands with. There seems to be ALOT of staph infections going around.

I'm eating my calcium and B12 complex pills. I'm also bringing my XM radio so I can hear the Opie & Anthony/ Ron & Fez Shows, so I'm as ready as I'll ever be. (As long as they don't make me laugh too hard and hurt me)

Please call me if you are available to scrub for this one.

and i had no pain anywheres except the incission. for about 5 days then the distraction pain came on like there was no tomorrow. but has since lighten up and pt is helping my legs and back. please keep in mind though i was Bone to bone hopefully you have enough disc space still there that you miss alot of the distraction stuff.
wishing you the best.

Yahoooooooo Eddies going to take the plunge. Mark scrubbed in on my surgery and was the one that woke me up and told me it was over. It was great to hear the inside scoop on the surgery like how the discectomy went, how diligent Dr Delamarter was to make sure all the disc material was gone and how well the ProDisc went in and of course that all tools and sponges where accounted for.

Here I am standing for the first time only hours after surgery with Mark's help. He will see you all the way through until you butt is hanging out of your hospital gown.

Magnesium huh? OK.

I have to take Ferro Sequel #30 now to increase my red blood cell count. I have to donate a few pints of my own blood at the hospital and I guess they want blood that's really rich in iron.

Calcium....B complex......anything else?

Oh yeah.....just now I just got a deep tissue massage at the resort and she was WONDERFUL! I was TOTALLY decompressed! BUT.....I couldn't get up after she was done. The pain hit me like a ton of bricks and now I can barely walk. I should have just laid on the table for an hour and enjoyed the decompression. Oh Well, It's back to the Oxy bottle, Neurontin bottle, and Valium bottle.

Any bottle I can find at this point!

Hiccup!
