SoCal top Cardiothoracic specialist/surgeon

My 45 y.o. cousin has aortic stenosis and is getting opinions re surgery for valve replacement. Anyone here have an opinion on who his the best and where to go? She's supposed to see a Dr. Laks (sp?) at UCLA

He's the first person I'd go to if in this situation. I knew someone who dated him and he was "all work".
