The first question is always the most important question, remember that! Dale is right about how there are more artificial discs now than there were a few years ago. I had ADR with the Charite disc in 2004 and only that and the Pro-Disc were available. Now there is the Maverick, and i think another one? It is definitely important to research the different discs and weigh the pros and cons. You can find really good information on medical journal websites.
