Hi Myriam,

Glad to hear your improving. I know exactly what you mean by trying to stay within your limitations. It's difficult when your feeling good not to try and do everything like normal. I found myself bounding up and down the stairs too many times and paying for it later in the evening. I still have some left sided sciatica with activity.

As you know, I attended the Spine Arthroplasty meeting earlier this month in Miami with Mark. One of the most interesting things was when Dr. Marnay spoke about the post-op leg pain. He said the best thing is to not do anything about it. It's perfectly normal and can take 6 months or longer to go away. But it almost always goes away. Other spine surgeons there... upon meeting them told me I should feel much better after 3 months.

I hope for your continued improvement. I'll call you tomorrow...
