Default New Arachnoiditis, Tarlov Cyst, neuroforaminal cyst forum.

Greetings from Bonn,

I have some clients who are bringing me into the world of Arachnoiditis, Tarlov Cysts, and neuroforaminal cysts. Often, these issues are asymptomatic. Sadly, when the are symptomatic, they are miserable with severe neuropathic pain, 24/7.

I'm very pleased to host Claudine Weber and the community of patients and caregivers of patients with these problems. As I mentioned in a thread in the new forum, this could be any of us. Actually, I think that it IS many of us.

I have more than just a handful of clients who are suffering from severe neuropathic pain following spine surgery. Dr. Baumbach and Dr. Zeegers have pioneered a theory about cervical or thoracic issues turning up the volume on lumbar neuropathic pain. We've seen some very amazing cases. But there are also the cases in which this issue does not apply. Hopefully, there will be some help for some of these people.

Neuropathic pain following spine surgery is a tough nut to crack and I'm not holding my breath thinking that there is some magic cure for these horrible problems. But, I do believe that for some of us, there will be hope for some improvement if treated properly.

So, please keep your eyes out for new information as it arrives. This will start slowly, but I hope that this new community will find iSpine a useful tool to help keep them informed as we learn more. Hopefully, some iSpine members will also discover useful information from the Arach/cyst community and either find help for a difficult problem, or even avoid a problem,

All the best,

Mark
