I also stay away from chiros but if you can find one who specializes in flexion/distraction manual therapy, no machine, I think it extremely beneficial and worth trying before invasive anything. The problem is, most use a machine without the manual manipulation. I've only found 1 and he charges way too much but I still go back every once in a while.
