I just spoke to KC... I'm still wiping away the tears. She's 5 days post-op now and it's till way too early to tell anything about long-term outlook. However, she's walking more now without walker, without crutches, without wheelchair; than she has in 'forever'. The symptoms that, preop, would have made her unable to do a lap around the nurses station on crutches are no longer present. Obviously, she's still highly medicated and still in a lot of pain, but things sound great so far. Please keep your thoughts and prayers coming... they are working.
